Dry Costa 125 mm
Costa 125 mm dry abrasive disc brush for metal deburring and edge rounding
Abrasive disc brush for dry deburring, edge rounding and surface finishing of steel, stainless steel and aluminium, with a Costa-type flange for Costa and equivalent brush-deburring machines. It removes burrs, laser and plasma slag, oxide and scale and leaves a uniform, satin or keyed surface.
Choose your configuration
Material — Oxid (aluminium oxide): for general steel and iron. Zirconic (zirconia): for stainless steel. Ceramic: our best all-round grain — the most aggressive, with a cool, self-sharpening cut and the longest life; excellent on stainless steel and the best choice on almost any metal.
Grit — coarser grits for heavy burrs, oxide and slag; finer grits for edge rounding and finishing. Available grits: 60, 80, 100, 120.
Brush type — Scotch (non-woven): for general deburring and finishing. Double Scotch: the same action as Scotch but, being double, it lasts longer and cuts more powerfully. Flap (Tampico): abrasive cloth flaps with tampico fibre, for fast, aggressive stock removal. High Density: abrasive cloth only (no non-woven), for large edge rounding with radii up to around 2 mm. Oxide Removal (Steel): steel brush without abrasive grain, for removing oxide and scale.
Applications
Deburring, edge rounding (radiusing), removal of laser and plasma slag, oxide, scale and rust, and surface finishing or keying before painting, coating or bonding.
Machine compatibility
Fits Costa and equivalent brush-deburring machines and heads.
